1. Booking & Confirmation
- All tour bookings must be made through https://www.myjapantour.jp or via email.
- A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email from My Japan Tour.
- Travelers are responsible for providing accurate personal and passport information when making a reservation.
2. Payment Policy
- A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking, depending on the tour package.
- Full payment must be completed by the due date specified in your invoice or confirmation email.
- Accepted payment methods: credit card, wire transfer, or other methods specified by My Japan Tour.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Client-Initiated Cancellations:
Cancellation fees apply based on the number of days prior to the tour start date:
- Those canceling the contract 41 days or more before the scheduled day of departure will be charged 5% of the full payment.
- Those canceling the contract 30 days or more before the scheduled day of departure will be charged 10% of the full payment.
- Those canceling the contract 21 to 30 days before the scheduled day of departure will be charged 20% of the full payment.
- Those canceling the contract two to 20 days before the scheduled day of departure will be charged 30% of the full payment.
- Those canceling the contract one day before the scheduled day of departure will be charged 50% of the full payment.
- Those canceling the contract on or after the day of departure or failing to show up without notification in advance will be charged 100% of the full payment.
If My Japan Tour can prove that his loss exceeded the amounts as computed according to the preceding paragraph, he may claim compensation equivalent to his actual loss.
Operator Cancellations:
If My Japan Tour cancels a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disaster, minimum number not met), a full refund will be issued.
4. Travel Insurance
- All travelers are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, personal belongings, and COVID-19-related issues.
- My Japan Tour is not responsible for any loss, injury, or delay not directly caused by our negligence.
5. Changes to Itinerary
- We reserve the right to modify the itinerary, accommodation, or transportation due to weather, local conditions, or force majeure.
- Reasonable efforts will be made to provide equivalent alternatives without additional charge.
6. Traveler Responsibilities
- Travelers must follow the guidance of local guides and comply with Japanese laws and regulations.
- My Japan Tour reserves the right to refuse participation or continuation in a tour for any participant who poses a risk or disturbance to others.
7. Liability Disclaimer
- My Japan Tour acts as an intermediary between clients and third-party service providers (hotels, transport, guides).
- We are not liable for injuries, losses, damages, or delays caused by third parties or events beyond our control (e.g., strikes, pandemics, acts of nature).
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including text, images, and branding—is the property of My Japan Tour and may not be reproduced without written permission.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Japan.
- Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
